An associate is :

• A woman or man
• Eighteen years or older
• One who chooses to enter into a temporary commitment to the Franciscan Sisters of St. Paul, Mn. for the purpose of personal and spiritual growth through the sharing of prayer, life and/or ministry
• One who shares in the spirit of the Franciscan Sisters community within the context of his/her own life style thereby not binding herself/himself as a vowed member
• One who has the ability to retain his/her own financial and legal responsibilities

Associate Commitments

• Attending monthly meetings
  
• Participating in an ongoing formation of prayer, community, study and ministry to the extent one can or desires
• Participating in opportunities of prayer, community, and ministry to the extent one can or desires
  
• Offering prayer support for each other-bonding in prayer
