Restore health and hope to our friends and neighbors in Sibley Manor Apartment Complex ...

• For many of them, HUNGER is a big problem. It saps their energy, breaks their spirits, and can stunt their physical and emotional well-being.
• Many people in our neighborhood are new Americans and working poor who live a reality of skipped meals. Most of them are below poverty level.
• Two-thirds of those benefiting from food shelves are children.
• Many go to school hungry, unable to concentrate on anything but their empty stomachs.
• School meal programs would provide the only meal of the day for many youngsters, if it weren't for food shelves.
• Perhaps we realize hunger's greatest damage when we see its effects on our most vulnerable victims ... children and the elderly.
