Mission Statement
The Franciscan Sisters of St. Paul, MN are called to live the Gospel plainly and simply among the people in accord with the mission of our Foundress, Mother Rose Flesch: which is to serve each other in community and to be open to God’s challenge, whatever the time and place, in actively relieving human suffering.
We live the gospel simply among the people in the following ways:

  • Through communal living by which our mutual love and support enables us to reach out and serve others selflessly
  • Through our ministry of healing in which we serve the poor, the sick and are responsive to the tremendous needs of others in our times.

  • Caring...for the elderly, the poor, the sick, the unwanted, the children and each other.
  • Concerned... about the relationship with God, Nature and our fellow human beings.
  • Called to a life of prayer and worship of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
